Tina Eboka_P2My Definition Of Success | Success has had different meaning over the years for me.

I Am Driven By | The insatiable hunger for knowledge.

My Highlights |

  • I am proud that I have in a small way made my family proud of me in terms of the work I have always chosen to do.
  • I am proud and filled with gratitude about my life and marriage to my husband.
  • I am a proud mother of two lovely children.

The Difference Between Good And Great | Good people do good work; the best they can get away with. On the other hand people who do great work do that over and above the expected and acceptable work.

A Key Talent | I would say it is my curious nature and critical thinking skill. I am always trying to find out why, how and what if.
Reading and reading about everything and I mean everything whatever I find interesting.

The Characteristics Of Success | I am open minded, a good listener, curious, I like people, I enjoy sharing with others what I know and what I have, I am not judgmental, I trust everyone’s good nature and give them a second chance even when they disappoint me. I choose to be happy and therefore do not harbor ill feelings about people. I believe many tough situations do not last forever – my motto is “this too shall pass”.

Principles I Live By | Respect for others, humility and believe are people are born good human beings and want to do good.

Critical Skills I Develop | Work hard, push myself, do better than is expected.

How I Use My Mind | I know for sure that there is an answer to everything that is a challenge; so I do no give up very easily.
When situations get hard and I cannot break through with people I know I have to change myself.
I am very analytical and spent a lot of thinking carefully about issues but I once got feedback from a boss that sometimes I take too long to act and I worked on changing that.
Lessons I Have Learnt | I have learned that the people we have a privilege to lead are capable of the success we dream for them.

Dealing With Doubt | I always have moments of self-doubt and great fear and in those times my faith in God helps me. I remind myself that He has not brought me this far to make me fail or make a disaster.

Performing At My Peak | I think the guilt of being found out not to have done my best or having to give flimsy excuses drives me to perform at the best possible level.

The Best Advice I’ve Received | It was a lesson from my grandmother to always say ‘thank you” and show gratitude. She used to say it is the 11th Commandment.

Advice On Building Wealth | There is nothing wrong with that goal but once you have the wealth what would you do with it? So be clear of how you intend to make a difference in others’ lives. Remember, however wealthy, rich or poor we will all end up the same way, dead and six feet under or simply ash.
